Junjurri Workshop™

Teaching our youngest people about the world’s oldest culture!

Step into the world of the Junjurri!

Junjurris you ask? Who are they?

Junjurris (Djandjaris) are a part of our dreaming. They are the tiny, magical pixies of the East Coast. Junjurris cared for nature and lived amongst it. Our country has been blessed with Junjurri footsteps! From the salty oceans to the tropical rain forests, the snowy mountains to the red desert and all the dry bush lands in between these are the places magical Junjurris lived. Junjurris helped the seeds to grow and flowers to bloom. They healed plants and animals in all parts of the land. Junjurris sometimes had different names in different parts of the country.
